We Will Remember Not The Words Of Our Enemies, But The Silence Of Our Friends - FRIENDS FOREVER - ENEMIES FOREVER - Elarn03
We will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends. -- Sound brain confusing? Well, the way I interpreted this was: When your enemy is saying something nasty to you and your "friend" was around, and your "friend" said nothing at all to your enemy that was bullying you, you'd be upset that your "friend" didn't say anything while your enemy said hurtful things. -- Some times it's what the person doesn't say hurts or confuses you. If someone says to you "I'm sorry for leaving you, it was a slack thing to do." You'd think alright I'd forgive you then. I wouldn't. That's what happend two weeks ago with Henry and I. He said "Elarn I'm sorry for ditching you, it was pretty slack." What I mean by what is being said was the suck-up artist (Henry) didn't say "I'm sorry, it was slack for me to do that since when I was in need you were there then I left and never came back when you were in trouble and I'd like to make it up to you by... I'd like to be your friend again." -- Do you get what I mean? The thing you think you want to hear has been said "I'm sorry" but the thing you really want to hear is "I'm sorry, I'll make it up to you." In my case, it is: "I'm sorry, I'll make it up to you. I'll be your friend again." -- Always listen to what's not been said. - Elarn03.
