Kimberly Jones, has been missing since February 2, 2009. She was last seen at her apartment in Parkersburg, West Virginia. The police have no leads at this time. If you have seen her or know of her whereabouts you are encouraged to contact our police dept at 304-424-8444. It only takes one person (the right person) to read this and come forward with any information that may lead to Kimberly's whereabouts. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this. UPDATE: A Year Later........ Remembering Kimberly Jones WTAP News Loved ones of Kimberly Jones's hold a candle light vigil to remember her. Posted: 10:49 PM Feb 3, 2010 Reporter: Erin Pulsanti Email Address: erin.pulsanti@wtap.com It's been a difficult year for members of the Jones family. One year ago, Kimberly Jones disappeared, without a trace. Jones was last seen outside her Pinewood Apartment in Parkersburg. Wednesday night, loved ones of Kimberly Jone's held a candle light vigil for her. So far, all leads the Parkersburg Police investigated have been unsuccessful. Det. Decker Moody, with the Parkersburg Police says "we really haven't developed any leads that have helped us in the investigation." Kimberly Jones's case is still open and police are working on taking her story national. Det. Moody continues "we now have got the aid of the FBI. And we are now imputing information into national databases, hopefully in an attempt to get some information that might help us obtain a lead or something that might help us find her." Tips from the public are crucial as police continue their search for Kimberly Jones. Det. Moody believes "the police can only be as effective as the people that we serve. We rely a lot on information from the public because they are our eyes and ears. And if they can provide us information that's usually the way cases are solved." As police work family members vow to continue their search for Kimberly. Jennifer Walborn, Kimberly Jones's sister says "oh, I'm never gunna stop. Never. I don't want to die never knowing. It's hard. I've been with her 25 years. I'll never stop. Ever." Kimberly Jones's brother David adds "not as long as I'm still breathing. Or my sister is. No. Never." I'm so sorry to hear about your friend. It's a totally reality check when it's some one you know. I feel for you and her family. I has to be horrible sitting and wondering where she is. The not knowing. I understand, all though I know where my daughter is; it's still an unsolved murder. I pray for the safe return of your friends Kimberly Jones.
