You told me yesterday, You aren't use to a lot of things. Sayings. Compliments and comments. I will never lie to you, Even to shun the terrible. So when I told you, In my eyes you are simply the greatest; I did not lie. I watch you daily, monthly and yearly. I've always been there, even when we where separated. Rather it be from the shadows, or that cold chill you encountered. I've always been around, I can wonder however, did you always know? Did you know how badly I wanted to stay and say those words. I let them slip from me, recently, I confessed them. I confessed my feelings, the one's I've so terribly neglected. It wasn't in my ability to not shun them, it was the ever approaching desire to finally have you. I figured at the time, Maybe I should just admit it to the world. Despite how you reacted or rejected me, You where my best friend. You'd let me down gently and Perhaps we could repair our friendships. To hear you say, You love me back, however. Caught me off guard, to the point I remember my heart beating it's way out of my throat. It was the same beating, I encountered all those many years ago. When I watched your perfection walk about the school grounds, counting your foot steps yet again to see how many I'd have to take to chase you. I'd pull you down by your hair, force you to bend over backwards nearly and as I stared into your disgruntled eyes, I fell madly in love with you. Was it the way you spoke, or how delicately your lips curled into a haunting smile. Everytime you spoke I gazed into your eyes, and grew lost in their depths, curious who it would be to take you away from me. You are still my best friend, My only friend I've told you that for years. You could try to change my perspective on just how Beautifully perfect I think you are, Sure. However you wouldn't ever succeeded, You are to humble. I wrapped my warm fingers around your cold hand and wanted to press my lips to your knuckle in a weak attempt to hold you. I've held your hand, for years and thought little of it. Until the day came, where I couldn't anymore. I watched that muddy pile of sand try to eat you, shoes first and as I watched you laugh I fell so terribly in love with you further. Every action. Every moment. I can only stand in these shadows and watch your light gleam in it's inevitable perfection. I would chase after you, like I've done for all these years. For, I found not having you around, Only made me strive to find someone else who was even a fraction of who you are. I failed. I failed time and time again. I realized, You are far to important to have in this universe that two of you could not co-exist. The fact I'd found you, torn and pleading in your silent cries with your fake smiles... Tore me asunder. To see you not smiling, is truly thieving away this worlds joy. Its asthough taking the largest star from the sky and shattering it, allowing the world to have no light. Even though, You've encountered many who would probably disagree with this... I call them liars. For I've lived without you. I've suffered without you, and surely I am living proof, not having you near drives this world further away from it's sun. Atleast mine, in a realism sense. I am, so in love with you even your imperfection's are absolutely gorgeous. Every wrong word you speak, Every unfortunate stumble... I only fall more in love with you. So make your mistakes, as you've always done. I'll only continue to fall more in love with you.
