Best Friends in Pink Joyful226

Picture above of the two girls on the left is my great Aunt Lillian on the right my Grandmother. My grandmother was 5 years 6 month and Aunt Lillian was 6 years 10 months. taken in Nov. 28 1893. Information on back of original picture. I turned them into a stamp and lightly tinted them with painter 8. What are best friends? Best friends are loyal. They forgive your mistakes and you forgive theirs. You listen to them through good and bad times. They rejoice with you when things are good and hold tight and even cry with you when things are sad or bad. And you do the same for them. Miles do not matter space nor time because you know they are there and only a letter or phone call away today even just an email away. Sometimes they don't say a word but each knows the other cares. But if you need a friend they are there and if things get extremely bad they are there to help you pick up the pieces and get on with life. And you would do the same for them. They give of their time their talent and love. Not expecting anything in return it is freely given. Yet the fact is you don't really expect anything from the best friend, but somehow they give it anyway because a best friend is an angel God has blessed you with… they are love, true agape love.. You can get mad and argue with a best friend but somehow you both know it is ok. They still care and you do too. I would say a true best friend is an example of Christ to others on this earth. Very hard to find but when you do you know you are blessed. My responsibility to my best friend is to NEVER take them for granted and to give the same kind of compassion, encouragement and caring that they have shown me. Best friends laugh together and cry together. No matter how far away they live from each other. Life is so much better because you both know your best friend is there.
