Easter is a wonderful time of the year for the earth is starting to awake once more. I believe that is why God the Father chose this time of year for when Christ would die for our sins and rise again on Easter morning to one show our new life in Christ so that all that believe in him should not perish but have eternal life with Him. That he was the true Paschal Lamb of God To take away the sins of the World. This creation is made to symbolize this very thing. 1. The empty cross Jesus is alive and well! 2.The lambs at the foot of the cross Christ was our sacrificial lamb who died on the cross to take away the sins of the world. 3. The Birds new Chicks are new life. 4. The rabbit's abundant life and symbolic of the great commission go therefore and make disciples of everyone...Christian's should multiply like rabbits. :) 5. The eggs eternal life no beginning and no end as it was an early Christian tradition some were even buried with them to symbolize eternal life. As a matter of fact, most of the Easter symbols are found in early Christian symbolism and have nearly gotten lost over time. 6. The water represents our baptism in Christ. 7. And the little birds playing instruments singing for Joy of Easter. "For God so loved the world he gave His only Begotten (unique one of a kind) Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17. For God did not send Jesus into the world to condemn the world but that the world (you and me) should be saved through Him. John 3:16-17

Hi Connie, I am a Christian believer too. I very nearly passed this blingee by, as I do not vote for "Easter bunnies and eggs"! I am so glad I took the time to read your notes under the picture, and I can see clearly the sybolism you have worked into the blingee. Congrats on that, and it really is a beautiful piece of art.
