there's a special love for a Grandma ♥♥♥

My Grandma Ania was a real angel in disguise! Never again have I met such a dear, warm, caring and tender person! Despite a very tough life ( working as a slave in a mountain mine during the Nazi occupation, living on a farm in the depth of socialism...) she always had a smile and a warm welcome for everyone. I know she cherished me a bit more than other grandchildren - for some time I was her only granddaughter, and we lived in the same house for the first 4 years of my life. I was named exactly the same - Anna H. - and, although my Grandma passed away over 22 years ago, I still keep her in my heart so much that - when getting married - I decided to just add my husband's surname to my maiden name - in memory of Grandma Ania and my Father, her son. When I close my eyes, I still see her rose garden (classic, English tea-colour and pink roses), as well as combing her long, grey hair and watching 19th century photos of her parents and French cousins, which actually built my love to vintage stuff.... I miss you Grandma! P.S. my mother still keeps saying that she had the best mother-in-law anyone could have ;)
